Yesterday I was happy to go and talk with fashion students at Central Saint Martins about my style hero fashion designer Bill Gibb. They are working on a project to curate an exhibit featuring the college’s archive of Gibb designs. This has been recently bolstered by a donation from the estate of the late Kate Franklin, his PR, who championed the designer to the end and was the driving force behind my book, Bill Gibb: Fashion and Fantasy (V&A Publications). I have very fond memories of the time I got to spend with Kate chatting about Bill and his fantastic designs.
