    Hello Mr.Iain ,

Hope this message finds you well. I am writing to you to try to request you if you would let me use some images from your Vogue coloring book during a class I am going to conduct on how to do skin coloring and clothes drapes using watercolors.

Should you say no I will probably just draw my own image for the class.

    Please let me know.

More power and I love your Vogue coloring book.

    1. PLEASE excuse the tardy reply. I have been taking time out following the launch of VOGUE GOES POP!

HOPE my response is not too late for your class.

I am flattered that you would wish to use some of my VOGUE Colouring Book images and I have no problem if you are not reproducing them for commercial purposes outside the class (I say this as Conde Nast and publishers can be fierce with such)…but I think that your suggestion that you draw your own images would be much more inspiring for your class – personal interpretation is always so exciting (have you checked out #voguecolouringbook on Instagram…I am AMAZED by the individual treatments) …anyhow, perhaps you can do both!

      THANX for getting in touch

      Best wishes

  2. Hi Iain

Josephine Pembroke here, you interviewed me once to become a fashion assistant for you on Blitz. I hope you are well. I now am a podcaster and it’s called RADIO GORGEOUS, I interview interesting women. But once a year in late November we allow men on! I would LOVE you to come on and talk about your interesting life in fashion and your Vogue colouring book. I read that you live in Bath, but I imagine you still have to come up to London. I would LOVE to interview you and it’s so easy as It can be a pre-record. In the last few years on Man Week I have interviewed Ian Kelly talking about Vivienne Westwood and cabaret artiste John Standing talking about Noel & Cole.
I am so hoping you will be up for it!

    1. Josephine,

GOLLY! that was a long time ago…but the BLITZ spirit lives on!!!

RADIO GORGEOUS sounds FABULOUS! (I listened to your interview with LOVELY Anna Harvey)

And yes, I’d LOVE to come on and talk about my life in fashion…like therapy!

Up and down to London all the time but I guess it’s not urgent if Man Week (poor hard done by chaps!)is not until November…

Get in touch via email: iainr72@btinternet.com

      THANX for getting in touch

      Best wishes

  3. Hi I am doing some film research and came across your interview with May Routh. Do you have any idea how to reach her by email?
    Many thanks
    Craig Lynn

    1. Craig,

THANX for getting in touch. I think I might still have a contact for May. She is a wonderfully inspiring woman.

Could you please send me more details of your research and I could forward it on to her.

      How does that sound?

      Best wishes

  4. Hi Iain,

I hope this email finds you well. I didn’t know how best to contact you so thought I would leave a note here for you.

My name is Hannah and I am currently putting together a fashion magazine on Haute Couture. Inspired by the work of Tim Walker, the international couture weeks and the expanding luxury fashion industry, I will be interviewing various designers and writers who have a focus on couture.

I have followed you on Show Studio and admire all your work over the years as a fashion editor, and would really love to interview you for my magazine. I would love to know more about what you think makes a great couture collection, your favourite designers and what you think is the current couture climate. Do let me know if this would be something you would be interested in doing! I

Just to let you know a little bit more about myself; I am a contributing writer for the Huffington Post and have my own blog, thefashionbox01.blogspot.com. I absolutely love the fashion industry and have interned at various fashion magazines such as British Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar, with an aim to one day work as a fashion features writer.

It would be really great to have you involved! I know you must be very busy so thank you for reading this email and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

    Kind regards,

    1. Hannah,

THANX for getting in touch. Apologies for not coming back to you sooner but I have been distracted by other projects.

Your magazine sounds interesting and I would be happy to be involved if schedule is still good for you?

Please can you contact me via my personal email: iainr72@btinternet.com and tell me more…

      Best wishes
